Job Duties

 

  • Design, code, test and implement project work using SAS.
  • Perform special programming in response to unscheduled requests
  • Managing data investigations to establish & identify root cause to explain a problem or issue
  • Converting files in the system utilizing multiple data applications, including a strong reliance on SAS and DataFlux
  • Writes, documents, and perform quality control review of programs 
  • Experience / working knowledge of the following:
    • Data Manipulation
    • Excel Pivot tables and data manipulations
    • Logistic Regressions
    • OLS
    • Segmentation
    • Neural Networks (a plus)
  • Performing quality control review of programs, data listings, and reports

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Strong background & experience in statistics and statistical methodology required
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • general understanding of  programming and computing principles, experience with Windows NT and common software products and technologies used in conjunction with SAS, and UNIX operating systems (a plus)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic project management skills
  • Organize project tasks and communicate progress verbally and in written summaries
  • Understanding of relational data base structure and experience working with complex data systems.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude, enthusiasm toward work, and the ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent problem solving and innovative skills
  • SAS Certified Version 9.x (a plus)
