The
Statistical Programmer will work in the Biostatistics group in support of
statistical analysis and reporting of data from our clinical and nonclinical
programs. The individual is responsible
for creating, documenting, validating, processing, and maintaining statistical
programs that generate analysis datasets, tables, listings and graphics, as
well as supporting experimental and exploratory analyses of company data.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:

Write programs (primarily in SAS) to analyze data
and produce statistical output for clinical study reports, manuscripts,
abstracts, and regulatory/health authority submissions

Contribute to the preparation of analysis plans and
statistical reports

Review of clinical protocols, manuscripts, posters
Requirements:
Must have 3+ years professional experience programming in the SAS language with at least 2 years experience in the pharmaceutical/biostatistical arena. Strong SAS/Base and SAS/STAT knowledge is a must, in addition to an above average understanding of the SAS macro language. Strong data analysis skills are required. A working knowledge of SAS/GRAPH is desired. Must be able to work with minimal oversight as well as to work as a member of a project team. Must have good organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, as well as multi-tasking abilities.
